MaDrivePrivacy Policy

Information accessed
With the account owner’s consent, MaDrive may receive an account identifier, email address, display name, item names and IDs, content types, sizes, timestamps, permissions and selected document or media content. An approved account permission may cover all accessible content in that account, not just items created by MaDrive.
Why information is used
Data is used to display and organize content, create or upload items, download, edit, delete and share items, preview selected materials, and enforce user access rules. Authorized users may act through an operator-connected account, and those actions can change the underlying account’s content. This information is not sold or used for targeted advertising.
Processing and retention
Selected content may pass through the user’s browser, the application server or an authorized service gateway to complete requested actions. Connected account credentials and access tokens are stored in encrypted form, and account identifiers, permissions, metadata, activity records and sessions are kept where needed for operation. Browser settings may be stored on your device. Retention depends on operator settings, deletion requests and necessary infrastructure backups.
Other service providers
Connected account providers and the hosting infrastructure may process information under their own published policies. Anyone receiving a public sharing link may gain access according to the permissions selected by the user.
Your choices and security
An account owner may disconnect their account or revoke MaDrive authorization in the account provider’s settings. Users can ask the operator about access, correction or deletion. Internet services have security risks; use strong credentials and authorize only trusted people.
Connected account data — limited use
Information received through authorized account interfaces is used only to provide or improve features requested by the user, protect account security and comply with applicable legal obligations. It is not sold, used for targeted advertising, transferred to advertising networks or used to train generalized AI models. Data is shared with connected service providers only as needed for user-requested operations, subject to account permissions and any additional applicable provider restrictions.
